Paso Robles Wine Country

Jan 8 - 15/2015 Weather forecast for the week - Sunny with high 60's low 40's at night.
We came to Paso Robles on the recommendation of fellow experienced full time RVers we met a few years ago.  Jan and Jeff rate all the RV parks they stay in by the view and ambiance of the hot tub :)  Isn't that adorable?

Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles by J & J's hot tub rating was a 10.... So we just had to come see for ourselves.   At night the hot tub even has a fire burning nearby...  All you need is the glass of wine.  Seems like it really is a 10.

The ride west from interstate 5 on hwy 41 was nice and rolling not too challenging for our second day in the motor home driving saddle again. The Santa Lucia low mountain range extends from the ocean to the freeway.  The area is known for almond and olive tree orchards and vineyards.  Thus about 170 winery's dot the countryside.

If the "motorcycle gods" are with us we should be able to get some riding in each day.  Turns out there are quite a few scenic rides in this area so we are staying the week to explore.  And cross our fingers we can get 1 long day loop up the Big Sur coast.
Paso Robles is about half way between SanFranciso and LA and 35 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean.
