March 7/16 Weather - the heat builds during the day to 84, night 55. Warm here, definitely need to have water bottles with you all the time. Dry and hot. If this is winter, we can't imagine how the summer must be. Someone had a great idea to build the Lajitas Resort which includes a golf course, spa, shooting activities, small hotel, restaurant, bakery, general store, rv park(only real big rig friendly park with easy access to Big Bend National Park), equestrian boarding, jeep rentals, zip line, and the close proximity to many mountain biking and hiking trails. We just want to show you a few pics of the RV park, the sites are
basically dirt but the mountains all around are quite beautiful.
