Solar Camping

Feb 28/16  Weather 85 sunny, clear.  Night 52.
We were doing some errands today before we pull out on Tuesday morning.  Groceries, rv store, check out a couple of campgrounds...... just some stuff then later spend the afternoon at our pool.   Interesting part was the visit to the KOA Tucson/Lazy Days.   The park was big and well laid out, kind of close to the interstate but would be fine for a night or too.   That is not the interesting part, sorry that might actually be boring.   Here is the neat part - the campground had 2 long rows of pull thrus that were covered in Solar Panels.  So neat.  It provides shade to the camper and power to the grid!!!!  See in Arizona you don't find shade very often and it is not from a tree as we know it in the North.  Maybe you get a palm tree or a cactus, of which neither is very shade bearing!
